I want to get this out there to my Plymouth people!! I’m getting very excited about this! Starting December 2, during our Bible class time, I’ll be leading discussion through “Getting to the Heart of Parenting” by Dr. Paul David Tripp.

I love this description:

“Parenting is more than using your power to get children to behave in certain ways. Parenting is all about the exposure and change of the child’s heart. When the heart of a child changes the behavioral change that is needed will last. Learn how to be an instrument of heart changing grace in the little moments of life that God will you with your children, whether they are toddlers or teens.”

I got introduced to Dr. Tripp through GriefShare as he is a frequent contributor on the video series. I began to explore his website and saw he is truly gifted in looking in to making our faith practical to our daily lives, including parenting. From his bio info on the DVD: Paul Tripp Ministries’ “mission statement is, ‘Connecting the transforming power of Jesus Christ to everyday life.'”

So, Plymouth parents, soon to be parents, or grandparents even, join me as we wade through growing as parents together!
