Inspiring!! It really is! On a recent episode of America’s Got Talent, America was introduced to Kodi Lee. Kodi is blind and diagnosed with Autism. The golden buzzer is a rare occurrence on AGT. It simply means that once the show “goes live” in Hollywood. The contestant gets to move on without any other preliminary competitions. It’s a FREE PASS!

Paul says that we have been given a golden buzzer . . . or something like that. “For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.” (Ephesians 2:8-10) Our golden buzzer is the grace we have received. It’s our way to get to the final show.

By offering His grace to us, God gives us the opportunity to shine our light to those around us. Kodi’s mom said they noticed that he had a gift for music and singing. They didn’t hold on to that because of his autism. They gave him the chance to share his gift. God his given us His grace. We are created to share it which God has prepared for us to do.

Our gift is not our own! It’s time to share the gift with others!
