It’s about that time of year! Time for me to connect with my family doctor for my annual physical. Last year, he found that I was borderline diabetic and confirmed it later in the year. So, I’m taking medication for that now.

Couples need a checkup every once in a while. Much like a doctor visit, you might feel that you are doing very well and think that you are pretty healthy. You hear about other couples that you thought were “good” but find out that they had struggles and end the relationship. You also hear about couples that have struggles but they have learned how to work through the struggles and grow stronger in their relationship.

So maybe you are due for a couple checkup. Well have a I got a deal for you!! The Plymouth Church of Christ Family ministry along with myself will be hosting a Couple Checkup Weekend. The dates are February 4-5. Friday’s schedule will be 7:00-9:00 pm with pie served! Saturday’s schedule will be 9:30 am-2:00 pm with lunch provided.

Here is how it works: As an online customized assessment tool through Prepare-Enrich, Couple Checkup is meant to be a fun, easy way to take a closer look at your relationship, increase relationship strengths, and above all – spark meaningful conversation between you and your partner.  Cost is $35 per couple and will cover the cost of the assessment and materials.
