Stuck! Grace Unsticks Us

Over the past two weeks, we’ve named what it feels like to be not at ease and begun to understand how some of our responses are rooted in survival. So where does that leave us? With hope.

Healing Is Often Gentle

We often want healing to happen quickly. But more often, healing comes slowly — through small moments of rest, honesty, and care. These may seem small, but they are not insignificant. This is often how God restores us — not all at once, but faithfully over time.

A deep breath. A quiet prayer. A safe conversation. A moment of stillness with God.

Jesus Walks With Us

In Luke 24, two discouraged disciples walk the road to Emmaus, weighed down and confused. Jesus comes alongside them, but they don’t recognize Him at first. Before anything changes, Jesus is present.

He listens. He walks with them. He stays.

That’s the hope we hold onto: we are not left alone in our healing. Christ meets us in the middle of it — not rushing us, not shaming us, but walking with us.

One Small Step

You don’t have to fix everything at once.

Maybe the next step is simply this: to receive a moment of rest, to be honest about what you’re carrying, or to trust that God is near, even here.

Healing may be slow, but it is still holy work. And God is faithful in every step.

Prayer

Lord,
Thank You for meeting me where I am.
Help me to trust Your presence, even when healing feels slow.
Give me grace for the process and peace for today.
Walk with me, and lead me gently forward.
In Christ’s name,
Amen.

Be blessed! Be a blessings!
